SEKAI NO OWARI has officially announced 'DOME TOUR 2026 THE CINEMA,' a four-show run consisting of two nights at Kyocera Dome Osaka in July 2026 and two nights at Tokyo Dome in August 2026. The large-scale dome tour, coinciding with the band's 15th major-debut anniversary, launches alongside ticket initiatives including a KDDI Ponta Pass pre-sale.

Specifically, Kyocera Dome Osaka shows are scheduled for July 11 (Sat) and July 12 (Sun), 2026, while Tokyo Dome shows are set for August 15 (Sat) and August 16 (Sun), 2026. All tickets are priced at 12,000 yen (tax included). The tour title 'THE CINEMA' references the movie theater, organizing a theater-like live experience where visual production and music are fully integrated.

From an industry-context perspective, PIA Research Institute's confirmed 2024 figures show Japan's live entertainment market reaching a record-high 760.5 billion yen. Dome-scale tours have been redefined as a revenue pillar of the music industry, with rising ticket prices acting as a key driver. SEKAI NO OWARI's two-night Tokyo Dome run aligns with this market-expansion phase.

On the production side, dome shows require staging investments in the hundreds of millions of yen, and the 'cinema experience' will likely be built from a combination of visual production, LED matrices, and movable center-stage devices. The KDDI Ponta Pass pre-sale, leveraging telecom-carrier-integrated ticketing, is a textbook component of how modern dome tours are designed for mobilization.

Catalog Spotlight: Dragon Night

'Dragon Night' (2014), an indispensable track in SEKAI NO OWARI's catalog, was written by Fukase and co-produced with Nicky Romero. It stands as one of the representative works of worldview-driven J-POP and will likely be programmed as a classic centerpiece in 'THE CINEMA' dome run.

From the ZEN editorial perspective, synchronizing the 15-year career milestone with a dome tour announcement is a textbook case of long-term musician brand building. By centering the concept on the movie theater, the design extends across music, staging, merchandise, and distribution into a unified experience brand — a key reference for independent artists planning long-term careers.
