'Keshiki' by JI BLUE — a special unit formed by members of JO1 and INI — has reached No. 1 on the Billboard JAPAN Hot 100 dated June 10. Released digitally on June 3 as the official theme song for the Japan national football team campaign 'Saiko no Keshiki wo 2026,' the track shot up the chart immediately after its debut.

The song was produced by Taku Takahashi (m-flo), built on a band sound that pairs bright tones with thick rock distortion. The MV was directed by NINOMIYA "NINO" DAISUKE of ANDGRA. The unit's name takes J from JO1, I from INI, and BLUE from the national team's signature color.

Forming a cross-group unit from two audition-born acts under the same agency adds a new template to the long-running playbook of sports-event music tie-ins. In a World Cup year, national-team campaigns guarantee repeated exposure across broadcasts and news coverage, which translates directly into chart momentum.

In practical terms, a tie-in of this scale presumes a compressed, simultaneous rollout: digital release, MV premiere, performances on music shows and sports programming, and coordinated social campaigns. Combining fandom mobilization with general-audience reach drove both streaming and video plays.

Also Watch: JO1's 'BE CLASSIC'

JO1, one of the unit's parent groups, continues an active release schedule of its own. 'BE CLASSIC' is among the MVs that best capture the group's expressive range, and many listeners are tracing JI BLUE back to it.

ZEN Editorial View: Cross-group units leverage overlapping fandoms while opening new points of contact. Tailoring a song to the context of its tie-in — sport, season, event — is an approach that scales down as well as up.
