Singer-songwriter Jonah released the digital single "Ashita Yori Anata" on July 29, 2026. It is the eighth release to come out of the new label Scrum Wave Music, and it arrives alongside a teaser for the music video that frames the song around a connection with something that matters more than tomorrow.
The track is built with enough open space that listeners can take it either as a love song or as a song of encouragement. Ahead of the streaming release, it aired on FM802's "RADIO∞INFINITY" on July 23, giving the song a radio touchpoint before it went live on services.
Newer labels stacking up digital singles from their roster has become a standard pattern across the Japanese indie space. Working single by single rather than album by album shortens the gap between releases, which creates several chances a year to submit to playlist editors and to earn social visibility.
Sequencing a radio premiere, then the streaming release, then the video is also a familiar way to stretch the life of a story on a limited budget. ZEN CREATIVE LAB advises registered artists to lock a two-week action plan on either side of the release date before anything goes out.
Also worth a look: what the teaser shows
The teaser leans on restrained framing to support the quiet sense of affirmation at the center of the song. It also works as a bridge for listeners waiting on the full video, which shows the value of staggering the release of the audio and the visual.
ZEN editorial view. Building release volume during a label's early period is what produces a catalog with enough depth to support sync pitches and overseas playlist pitches years later. Keeping metadata clean on every single track is worth the effort.
