King Gnu's Record-Setting "CEN+RAL Tour 2026" Heads to Its Seoul Finale — A Cross-Border Run Through Five Asian Cities, Powered by "AIZO"

King Gnu are bringing their largest-ever Asian tour, the "King Gnu CEN+RAL Tour 2026," toward its finale with a June show in Seoul. Spanning 15 cities and 29 performances — including first-ever stops in Niigata, Bangkok, and Hong Kong — the roughly five-month run connected fans at home and abroad, with the "Jujutsu Kaisen" theme "AIZO" in tow.
The tour opened in Sendai in February and continues through its Seoul finale in June, about five months in total. Domestic stops included Sendai, Osaka, Takamatsu, Tokyo, Nagoya, Hiroshima, Chiba, Fukuoka, Sapporo, and Niigata, while the overseas leg took in Bangkok, Hong Kong, Taipei, Shanghai, and Seoul. Niigata, Bangkok, and Hong Kong were the band's first visits.
Japanese bands increasingly fold multiple Asian cities into the official routing of their own tours, and the scale of King Gnu's run is a notable example. A multi-city Asian swing — involving local promoters, visas, logistics, and on-the-ground staffing — rewards accumulated production and operational experience.
Alongside the tour, "AIZO," written for the opening of "Jujutsu Kaisen" Season 3, showed strong presence on streaming. Its structure, switching between gagaku-tinged elements, drum and bass, and band sound, broadens points of contact with new listeners through its link to the screen.
Worth Revisiting: "Hakujitsu"
One of King Gnu's signature songs, "Hakujitsu," has remained a long-running hit, steadily adding plays since release. With old and new material crossing in setlists across Asian cities, the tour also became a chance to survey the band's journey since its formation.
