THE ORAL CIGARETTES guerrilla-released the digital single "LIMIT" on July 1, 2026. Their first digital release in about half a year, the announcement-free drop sparked major buzz, centered on social media.
On June 29, a short story-style clip showing only a cigarette emoji in the title area appeared on the band's official social accounts, setting up the surprise release amid growing anticipation. The track is available via a special page and on streaming services.
Unusually for the band, "LIMIT" incorporates an EDM sound. Built around a driving four-on-the-floor kick and digital synthesizer textures, it fuses the band's signature heavy guitar riffs and emotional vocals into a dance-rock number.
The band begins its nationwide "Home Sweet Home TOUR 2026" on July 8 and has an FC-limited show at Pia Arena MM on October 12. Connecting the release to the live run builds a flow anchored by the new song.
