"Utahime (feat. Mao Sasagawa, yuigot, KBSNK, samayuzame & Kumamiso)," a new song by ko shinonome of the rock unit Bungei Tengoku, was released digitally on July 3. The track fuses distorted guitar and bass with drum-and-bass-style beats, layered with vocals that swing from shouts to whispers.
ko shinonome wrote and composed the song, with Mao Sasagawa on vocals, yuigot on arrangement, and KBSNK (TEMPLIME) handling the mix. samayuzame contributed theremin and also tuned the Vocaloid version released the same day, while Kumamiso created the music video and artwork.
A lineup of internet-native creators each bringing a distinct craft to a single song represents the current shape of collaboration outside label-driven structures — with every participant's listener base cross-pollinating the others through social media.
Launching a Vocaloid version on the same day as the main release is another notable choice, reaching vocal-synth listeners and song-cover audiences simultaneously.

Bungei Tengoku's signature MV "Seikatsu wo Tomete" is also available. The unit's world — Sumi Aika's visuals and design combined with ko shinonome's songwriting — runs through the collaborative framework of "Utahime" as well.
From the ZEN editorial desk: this craft-sharing model of collaboration is highly reproducible for independent creators, including those who register with ZEN CREATIVE LAB. Clear crediting doubles as a portfolio for every participant.
